South Africa NRF-DAAD In-Country Scholarships 2024-25

Start your study adventure in South Africa. The NRF-DAAD In-Country Scholarship is together provided by the DAAD and the NRF to full-time Master’s and PhD candidates in South Africa in all pasture of study at any South African university.

Eligible Countries: Candidates from South Africa are allowed to enroll for the scholarship. Acceptable Program or Subjects:  full-time Master’s and PhD candidates in South Africa in all pasture of study at any South African university. Admissible Criteria: To be allowed, the candidates should meet all the following/given criteria: Candidates should be 30 (Masters) or  32 (PhD) years of age or younger in the year of application. The NRF’s lowest educational requirement for postgraduate grating is 65%.  South African citizenship or a permanent t South African residency is a condition for the scholarship.
